It's summer once again. And, you Checkered Flag fans know what that means. Another season of Checkered Flag's Summer Safety Series! Yay!
This year, we're kicking off the season with a very important lesson for all Hampton Roads drivers. The following is an instructional video on what to do if your vehicle is submerged. The video will cover a few different ways to handle the terrifying situation of being stuck in a car that is underwater. One thing is for sure: the key is to keep calm.
If you have trouble opening the underwater car video on this page, choose the following link and scroll down to this article. Link: Escape from submerged vehicle video
Now, if your vehicle is completely submerged in the manner of the one in the video, there's not a whole lot we can do to help you. However, if you ever happen to have weather-related flood damage, contact our Virginia Beach service centers or our Checkered Flag bodyshop for help. You can reach both at (757)490-1111.
Stay tuned to Checkered Flag.com for upcoming tips in our 2014 Summer Car Safety Series.
